    The Pipeline

The Pipeline is a leading diversity business, working with organisations to develop all their talent to deliver better results.

We have built GENIE Px, the largest bank of data on the barriers facing women, to evidence our tailored interventions for organisations who are losing their female talent. This provides the basis of the leadership programmes we design and run for individual women and organisations.

It's International Equal Pay Day. Yet, despite leg It's International Equal Pay Day. Yet, despite legislation being passed and the progress in visibility for women at work, we are STILL not being given equal pay for equal work.

We need CEOs to take responsibility for unequal pay in their organisations. For too long, we've heard it takes time; we've had time and laws. Change is needed now. - Lorna Fitzsimons

It's been over half a century since the Equal Pay Act 1970. Until we bust the myth that we've achieved equal pay, nothing will change. - Margaret McDonagh

Globally, women earn 77 cents for every dollar men make for work of equal value – with an even wider wage gap for women with children and in the UK women of colour.

If women played an identical role in labour markets to men, as much as USD28 trillion ( GBP20 trillion) could be added to the global annual GDP by 2025.

As women, we only level up if there are equal opportunities for us all. At The Pipeline we are thinking about how we can influence change, and we hope you will too.

When it comes to finding women for senior leadersh When it comes to finding women for senior leadership positions, many organisations think about recruitment.

Many of those same organisations already have very talented women stuck in the attainment trap within the lower levels of the organisation.

Recruitment is not the problem. Adequate opportunities and support for capable women is the real issue we need to tackle.

We are making progress, but we want to make sure that we don't go backwards post-pandemic.
The quickest way to ensure you have a growing numb The quickest way to ensure you have a growing number of senior women leaders in your organisation is to invest in the ones you have in middle-management.

That's why we run the Leadership Summit programme. Margaret McDonagh and Lorna Fitzsimons wanted to help women avoid some of the corporate pitfalls like the attainment trap. Then teach talented women what works; sponsorship, strategic career planning and corporate personal branding.
