Lindsay Thomas is the CEO of Sustainable Risks Ltd a risk and regulatory advisory consultancy. He has extensive experience in financial services, especially regulatory policy, reputation protection and risk management. Lindsay is a contributor to both the BBC and ITV news commenting on regulatory issues.
He has provided briefings or other policy inputs to UK political parties. He provides consultancy to major banks, asset managers and other market participants. Lindsay is also a trustee of KIDS, a national UK young people’s disability charity.
Until 2006, Lindsay was a Director of the Financial Services Authority. His senior FSA roles included directorships of Retail Firms Supervision, Knowledge Management and Authorisation. As a senior supervisor and advisor he has been at the center of almost every major issue in financial services.
